    • We continuously hold capacity in our manufacturing & fabrication facilities to offer market leading flexibility on specials or bespoke cable management systems
  • Can I request a specific delivery time/day?
    • RMS will always endeavour to meet our customer’s requirements and hit special delivery times every day
  • Do you manufacture all products yourself?
    • We manufacture all of our core product ranges ourselves as a proud UK manufacturer. A small number of our ancillary products are brought in from trusted partners also mainly UK based
  • Would you describe yourselves as competitive within the containment industry?
    • We have built our business by delivering competitive and value for money on an extensive range of products
  • Do all of your products comply to British standards?
    • Our products meet the relevant British and EN standards
  • Are products manufactured in the UK?
    • We are a proud UK manufacturer and will always buy from the UK first
  • Can you manufacture sizes outside of your standard ranges?
    • RMS have the ability and capacity to manufacture bespoke products to client design

  • What widths are available as standard?
    • 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, 225mm, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 750mm & 900mm. Other sizes available on request
  • What are your light, medium and heavy duty side heights?
    • 15mm, 25mm & 50mm as standard, other sizes available on request
  • Do trays come with couplers?
    • Couplers, fixing screws and nuts are not provided as standard and should always be ordered separately. On lengths of Light Duty 2″-6″couplers not required because the tray has a swaged edge
  • Are couplers sold separate or in pairs?
    • in pairs
  • What finishes are available for tray?
    • Cable tray is available Pre-Galvanised, Hot Dip Galvanised, Powder Coated, Stainless Steel or Magnelis. For more information go to our painting & finishing page
  • What standards do your tray comply to?
    • RMS cable tray has been tested and are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 61537:2007

  • What sizes are available as standard?
    • Cable trunking is available in a variety of dimensions from 50mm x 25mm to 300mm x 300mm in 3m lengths as standard, variations available
  • Does trunking come with couplers?
    • Both the lid and the body are supplied in 3m lengths as standard complete with couplers and all necessary fixing screws
  • Are couplers sold separate or in pairs?
  • Do you offer security fixing screws?
    • As well as our standard turnbuckle we offer a screw fixing & tamperproof screws for security trunking
  • What are the dimensions of the lighting trunking lid?
    • Internal base 25mm, external base 46mm, distance between clips 23mm
  • Is your trunking supplied with joiners and fixings?
    • Both the lid and the body are supplied in 3m lengths as standard complete with couplers and all necessary fixing screws
  • What gauge thickness is the standard trunking?
    • The gauge thickness increases with the size of the trunking and the finish used. Please contact us for more details
  • What finishes are available for trunking?
    • RMS trunking is available Pre-Galvanised, Hot Dip Galvanised, Powder Coated, Weatherproof, Stainless Steel or Magnelis. We are one of very few manufacturers that can produce Hot Dip Galvanised trunking systems in 2m lengths. For more information go to our painting & finishing page
  • What standards does your trunking comply to?
    • RMS trunking systems meet the requirements of BS EN 500852-1: 2006 + A1:2011
  • How many compartments are available in your standard trunking?
    • 1, 2, 3 & 4 compartment variations but we have the ability and capacity to manufacture bespoke products to client design. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements

  • What sizes are available as standard?
    • A range of widths from 50mm to 900mm and side heights of 35mm, 60mm, 110mm & 160mm. Other sizes are available on request
  • What size is the mesh of the basket?
    • Manufactured and constructed with a 50mm x 100mm mesh configuration, other sizes such as 50mm x 50mm alternatives are also available
  • Can we fabricate bends out of basket lengths on site?
    • Yes or we can provide a full range of factory made bends
  • Does your basket come with couplers?
    • Quick fit couplers or 4 part clamp kits must be ordered separately
  • What finishes are available for basket?
    • RMS basket is available in Bright Zinc Plate, Pre-Galvanised, Hot Dip Galvanised, Stainless Steel or Powder Coated. For more information go to our painting & finishing page

  • Do you manufacture cavity and screed floor boxes?
    • Yes, to an extensive range of finishes, bespoke options are also available
  • Do you sell a complete screed trunking system?
    • We offer both underscreed and flush floor trunking systems
  • What are the dimensions of the floor box plates?
    • The plate to suit the 3 comp box is 185 x 87mm & the plate to suit the 4 comp box is 185 x 65mm
  • What are the depths of the floor boxes and have you got a drawing?
    • The standard depth for screed boxes is adjustable 63mm-75mm and the cavity box is 90mm but other variations are available. Our sales team will be able to assist with drawings to your specifications. Circular floor boxes are also available
  • What are the dimensions of your 2, 3 and 4 comp floor boxes?
    • 2 comp – 215mm x 225mm /  3 & 4 comp – 305mm x 225mm
  • What types of floor finishes can your floor boxes be used for?
    • Boxes can be manufactured to accept various types including carpet, terrazzo, marble and slate
  • What finishes are available for floor boxes?
    • A choice of Stainless Steel, Brass, Powder Coated or Plastic Moulded Trims. For more information go to our painting & finishing page

  • How many power units can I daisy chain at one time?
    • Six sockets in any variation i.e 2 x 3 or 3 x 2
  • Do your products come with power & data leads?
    • 3m mains leads are provided as standard as well as data leads if the unit contains RJ45 data modules
  • How do I fix desktop units to the desk?
    • Supplied with a pair of G clamps to secure to the desk, alternatively adhesive pads can be used
  • Can I customise power units to add configurations such as USB, HDMI, VGA, Audio etc.?
    • Yes, units can be configured to each individual requirement, please contact our sales team for more information

  • Do you supply ladder in 6 metre lengths?
    • Yes; we can supply ladder in both 3 and 6 metre lengths
  •  Is cable ladder inter changeable with other makes?
    • No, it is always best to stick with all the same make so that all of the accessories and fixings fit correctly

  • Do you make brackets and frames?
    • We make an extensive range of brackets and frames in our onsite fabrication shop, please contact our sales team with your requirements
  • Do you assemble?
    • We can assemble, pre assemble and supply in kit form
  • Can the lengths of channel be cut to a required size?
    • Yes; just specify what size you require and we can price accordingly

  • Would GRP products be suitable for a marine environment?
    • Yes; we recommend our GRP range for marine environments and outdoors due to it’s non-corrosive properties GRP is a composite material made up of polyester resin reinforced with glass fibres. The glass fibres give the product its lightweight yet hardwearing qualities

  • Do you supply this in stainless steel and what sizes do you offer?
    • Yes; we supply stainless steel conduit in 20mm, 25mm and 32mm other sizes may be available on request please speak with our sales team
